In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a strike has left families from the Gorgaarte subclan reeling from devastation. Having sought refuge in the fields after fleeing conflict three years ago, they found themselves caught in the crossfire once again. The account of this tragedy, as narrated by witnesses, paints a grim picture of indiscriminate violence.

One witness, deeply rooted in the area where the strike occurred but absent at the time, rushed to the scene upon hearing the news. His description, pieced together from the wounded, resonates with the harrowing reality faced by those affected. Multiple strikes, targeting even those who rushed to aid the injured, underscore the indiscriminate nature of the attack.

“I was born and raised in the area where the strike took place but was in Mogadishu when it unfolded.
