UAE's Floating Hospital: A Lifeline for Gazans in Need

In the heart of the city, inside Al Arish, a very special medical project is changing the life of Gazans hit by continuous war. Constructed within the compound of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE Floating Hospital is among the few beacons of hope offering much-needed medical interventions to the most needy people. The hospital had executed more than 1,263 various surgeries since its operative date on February 24, 2024, providing life-saving interventions for the injured and much-needed medical treatment.

A lifeline in time of crisis

For Palestinians who have experienced terrible losses, the UAE Floating Hospital is a lifeline rather than only a symbol of cutting-edge medical technologies. The Prosthetics Centre of this project is among the most amazing features as the committed medical team there is working nonstop to give people who have lost limbs during the conflict mobility and dignity.

So far the facility has fitted seven patients whereas plans are underway to manufacture and fit prosthesis on twenty-five other people. The patients also go through thorough physiotherapy and rehabilitation so that they stand a good chance to regain their liberty.
